SCHUEY SHOCK How Michael Schumacher’s family sought to hide £ 1 million photo of an F1 legend which was leaked by a ‘friend’ | FormulaNASCAR

Image
Source: The Sun MICHAEL Schumacher's family fought for three years to bury "secret" photos of the Formula One legend leaked by a "friend." The photos were allegedly smuggled out of the former racer's Lake Geneva home in 2016 and sold for a whopping £1 million. Since his shocking skiing accident in 2013, no photos or videos of Schumacher have been seen, though a rare health update was issued last week. In an off-piste crash, the hero suffered "traumatic brain injury" and was placed in a medically induced coma. A year later, he awoke. Since then, the former Ferrari and Mercedes driver has been recuperating at his home in Switzerland with his family. The anonymous photographer took advantage of the opportunity to sell a first look at the injured 53-year-old. The unknown person, who is thought to be Schumacher's close friend, allegedly took a photo of the star lying in his bed. The photos were then allegedly smuggled out of the family's mansion...

Hamilton told to quit, Verstappen's Ferrari demand, Lewis faces protest Source FormulaNASCAR - As the British Grand Prix approaches, Max Verstappen holds the championship lead as Red Bull continues to profit from Ferrari's struggles. Sergio Perez, the Dutchman's teammate, is now 46 points behind him in the standings. Charles Leclerc , his title opponent, is 49 points behind him after recent Ferrari failures. In two of the last three races, the Monegasque had mechanical issues, and strategic mistakes cost him potential victories. Despite Mercedes difficulties, George Russell is still in the running for the championship thanks to his consistency. He is just over 50 points behind Verstappen. The former Williams driver is currently the only one on the starting grid to have finished in the top five in each race so far this year. He probably would have won another podium in Canada if it weren't for a last-minute risk on dry tyres in Q3 that caused him to finish e...

Next season, Pierre Gasly is "100% sure" to return to AlphaTauri, and teams feel Oscar Piastri is ready for a promotion to Formula One. However, Williams expects their roster to remain constant until the end of the year, which would be fantastic news for Nicholas Latifi if true, while McLaren chief Zak Brown stated his relationship with Daniel Ricciardo has never been better. All of this was disclosed on Saturday at the Canadian Grand Prix, the ninth race on the calendar this year and more than six weeks before F1's "silly season" of driver movement gets underway. Lewis Hamilton took out by team-mate as Sebastian Vettel lost all-time great Formula 1 race | FormulaNASCAR

"Lewis Hamilton took out by a team-mate as Sebastian Vettel lost all-time"  Source FormulaNASCAR - Ahead of this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix, Mirror Sport remembers one of the greatest races ever to take place on the Montreal track – featuring a record-breaking comeback from Jenson Button. The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve has played host to some iconic races over the years, and the 2011  Canadian Grand Prix  might just be the best of them. It remains the longest race in  Formula 1  history at a shade over four hours from start to finish, though two of those hours saw nothing happen as intense rain caused the red flags to fly. When the cars were moving, though, the action was breathtaking. And  Lewis Hamilton  was very much in the thick of it from the get-go. Just four laps had come and gone when he was involved in a collision, spinning the  Red Bull  piloted by  Mark Webber  who ended up falling to the back of the grid. But t...

Overtaking masterclass at the Hungaroring in ETCR Formula 1 | FormulaNASCAR

Overtaking masterclass at the Hungaroring in ETCR Formula 1 | FormulaNASCAR Much is said about the difficulty of overtaking in championships such as Formula 1, with "DRS trains" or narrow tracks meaning a lack of entertainment. In the ETCR, where the cars are almost identical, one might think it was the same, but it is not. In the ETCR, the cars have a maximum power of 500Kw for the qualifying laps, while in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals races the cars are limited to 300Kw but they are able to use the "Power Up". It is an instant increase in power to 450Kw that lasts 40 seconds for the quarter-finals and only 20 seconds for the semi-finals and the final. The use of this button is very important for strategy because, unlike F1's DRS, this extra power is used both to attack the car in front and also to defend against a possible overtaking. The job of the engineers in the wall is to predict, warn and advise the driver when it is better to spend t...
